Job summary

CRG is seeking a detail-oriented Export Logistics Coordinator to support day-to-day freight forwarding and project logistics operations. This role manages export shipments through the full lifecycle with emphasis on oversized and out-of-gauge cargo.

Qualifications

• Experience in the freight-forwarding industry.
• Working knowledge of basic freight-forwarding and logistics terminology.
• Experience managing shipments in an end-to-end A-to-Z environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced logistics environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to ask questions and learn new processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate export shipments through the full A-to-Z freight-forwarding process, from initial booking through shipment completion.
• Create and manage shipment bookings and submit required shipping instructions and documentation.
• Monitor shipments throughout the transportation lifecycle and follow through to ensure successful completion.
• Support project logistics involving oversized and out-of-gauge cargo.
• Manage day-to-day logistics operations while adjusting to changing priorities and unexpected shipment needs.
• Maintain accurate shipment information and documentation throughout each stage of the process.
• Collaborate closely with team members to troubleshoot issues, answer questions, and keep shipments moving efficiently.
• Support project logistics operations involving cargo that may require more specialized coordination than traditional point-to-point ocean freight.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and other logistics partners throughout the shipment process.
• Learn and apply processes related to specialized OOG cargo handling as needed.
