Job summary

Nordson Industrial Coating Solutions is seeking an Export Coordinator to manage international shipments, prepare export documentation, and ensure compliance with export regulations and company policies. You will collaborate with internal teams, logistics providers, and customs brokers to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant movement of products worldwide.

The role requires 3+ years in shipping/logistics/export coordination (or 7+ years without a degree) and a preference for export

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years shipping, logistics, international trade, export coordination, or related field with a Bachelor's degree; or 7+ years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• Export-related certification(s) and SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate accurate, compliant, and timely international shipments to support customer delivery expectations.
• Prepare, review, and maintain export documentation, shipment records, and related compliance files.
• Support compliance with import/export regulations, customs requirements, customer requirements, and company policies.
• Review invoices, shipping documents, and export data for completeness and accuracy.
• Collaborate with logistics providers, customs brokers, customer service, supply chain, and other internal teams to resolve shipment-related questions or issues.
• Serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for export-related inquiries, documentation needs, and issue resolution.
• Maintain work instructions and customer- and country-specific export requirements to support consistent processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve export processes, documentation accuracy, and overall operational efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Export Coordinator is responsible for coordinating international shipments, preparing export documentation, and supporting compliance with applicable export regulations, customs requirements, and Nordson policies. This position plays a key role in ensuring customer orders are shipped accurately and efficiently while maintaining clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Education And Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant work experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in shipping, logistics, international trade, export coordination, or a related field with a Bachelor's degree; or 7 or more years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Export-related certification(s) and SAP experience preferred.
