Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in international business, supply chain, legal studies or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in export compliance, global trade compliance, or related field.
• Experience with U.S. export laws and regulations (EAR, ITAR, OFAC).
• Experience participating in compliance assessment activities.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Develops and drives trade control strategies to enable business execution.
• Maintains collaborative relationships with business partners and peers.
• Supports EAR/ITAR licenses throughout the export life cycle.
• Defines, develops, and implements export control processes and solutions.
• Interprets CFR requirements to CFR 15 (EAR) and CFR 22 (ITAR).
• Identifies trade compliance risks and develops mitigation plans.
• Prepares and submits export license applications (SNAP-R, DECCS).
• Provides training and guidance on trade compliance requirements.
• Acts as liaison with government agencies.
• Classifies goods under HTS, ECCNs, or ITAR categories.
• Audits Trade Compliance systems for compliance and improvement.
