M Crowd Restaurant Group is hiring an Expo/ Expediter for Mi Cocina Lake Highlands in Dallas, TX. The Expo will bridge kitchen and servers, ensuring orders meet quality and timing standards. Candidates should have 1+ year expo experience and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum one year experience as an expo/expediter.
• Must possess strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume environment.
• Ability to lift and carry trays, plates, and supplies safely.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain order accuracy.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Organize food according to orders to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Facilitate communication between the kitchen and service staff.
• Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner.
• Verify food orders before service.
• Communicate menu changes to management and servers during service.
• Notify servers when food is ready for pick up.
• Set up the expedition area at the start of each shift.
• Prepare and place garnishes on appropriate food items.
• Prepare trays for servers with the correct plates for efficient delivery.
• Ability to perform light food preparation and side duties as needed.
• Complete side duties as needed, such as polishing silverware, restaurant setup, and filling condiments.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or director.
