Job summary

Systems Application & Technologies, Inc. (SA-TECH) at Dugway Proving Ground seeks an Explosives Handler to support DoD testing and operations. The role requires handling basic to complex explosive materials, adherence to safety procedures, and readiness to work outdoors on a DoD facility.

Ideal candidates will have EOD-related training, U.S. citizenship, a DoD security clearance, and WDTC certification or access to training.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience in the use and handling of explosives.
• Completion of formal training on the types and characteristics of explosives.
• WDTC Certification or training provided by WDTC personnel.

Responsibilities

• Use explosives for demolition and for special uses.
• Research and review technical data for weapons systems under test.
• Calculate the type and quantities of explosives required to accomplish a specific mission.
• Handle, disassemble, and assemble ammunition and components.
• Read and interpret ammunition drawings.
