Orica in Poultney, VT is seeking a CDL Class B Driver for our USA Commercial team. You will safely operate bulk trucks, deliver and install blasting products at mine, quarry, and construction sites, and support safe blasting operations with preventative maintenance and strong customer service.

This hybrid role combines roughly 40% driving and 60% field work, involves outdoor work in varying conditions, and requires strict adherence to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and accurate daily

Formación

• Valid Class B CDL required (Class A is a plus).
• Tanker endorsement preferred.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred.
• Willingness to obtain endorsements—support will be provided.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsabilidades

• Hybrid role: 40% driving, 60% physical field work.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking/refilling fluids.
• Safely hook up and unhook trailers.
• Operate emulsion tanker trucks and box trucks.
• Handle raw materials and hazardous goods per safety/regulatory requirements.
• Minimize environmental impact through waste reduction.
• Immediately report any incidents or accidents.
• Participate in daily toolbox talks and monthly safety meetings.
