Job summary

Orica, a global leader in blasting solutions, is seeking a CDL Class B Driver to join its USA Commercial team in Poultney, VT. This hybrid role combines 40% driving with 60% field work, delivering and installing bulk explosive products and providing safe, reliable service to mining, quarry, and construction customers.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, handle materials safely, and support daily safety practices while complying with DOT and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Class B CDL required (Class A is a plus).
• Hazmat and tanker endorsements preferred; willingness to obtain endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Operate bulk trucks and deliver blasting products to customer sites.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
• Load, unload, and hook up trailers; operate emulsion tanker/box trucks.
• Ensure safe handling of hazardous materials and compliance with safety regulations.
• Minimize environmental impact and report incidents; participate in safety meetings.
