Orica in Poultney, VT is seeking a CDL Class B Driver to join our USA Commercial team. This hands-on role delivers blasting products to mining, quarry, and construction sites and supports safe operations through vehicle inspections, maintenance, and customer service.

The role is hybrid: about 40% driving and 60% field work outdoors, with early starts and potential overtime. Candidates should have at least one year of driving experience, a valid CDL Class B, and the ability to work safely and

Formación

• Minimum of one year of experience in driving and/or material handling.
• Solid understanding of DOT regulations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and basic math for inventory tasks.
• Ability to prioritize multiple daily tasks and urgent situations.

Responsabilidades

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
• Safely hook up and unhook trailers.
• Operate emulsion tanker trucks and box trucks.
• Handle hazardous materials per safety and regulatory requirements.
• Minimize environmental impact through waste reduction.
• Report unusual incidents immediately.
• Attend daily toolbox talks and safety meetings.
