Job summary

John Henry's is seeking a Drain Technician- Service to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential drain and sewer systems. You will estimate materials, order parts, and ensure code compliance while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include installing and repairing pipes, testing systems, and documenting work processes. A high school diploma and plumbing experience are required, with a plumbing apprenticeship preferred and licensure a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. Plumbing apprenticeship preferred.
• Journeyman or Master Plumber license/certification is a plus.
• Proven experience with residential drain and sewer systems and plumbing tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential drain and sewer systems.
• Determine materials needed and estimate time and costs for projects.
• Install, assemble, maintain, and repair pipes and fixtures.
• Affix clamps, screws, brazing, soldering, and welds to pipes and tubes.
• Measure, cut, thread, or bend pipes using specialized tools.
• Perform pressure tests to ensure air and water tight systems.
• Keep detailed notes and create work reports in systems (e.g., Service Titan).
• Test fixtures after installation for proper functioning.
