Job summary

Service Professor is hiring a Drain Technician to temporarily restore flow to residential drains and to generate leads for the Sewer team. You will interact daily with customers, participate in an on-call rotation, and travel to customer homes to complete work orders using mobile technology.

Requirements include 1 year of plumbing or drain-cleaning experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 1 year of plumbing, drain cleaning, or related experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• CRM software experience; proficient with Outlook and Excel
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication with customers daily

Responsibilities

• Locate blockages and temporarily restore flow to home drains
• Educate customers on sewer care best practices
• Convert the job into a lead for Sewer Sales to offer long-term options
• Establish customer rapport and ensure high satisfaction
• Collect client information and maintain accurate notes
• Use mobile tech to photograph, document, and complete work orders
• Collect payment and provide necessary receipts
• Attend required trainings and meetings
• Serve on an on-call rotation
• Travel to customer homes
