The role requires climbing, lifting, and working from ladders or lifts, with weekly pay related to hourly wages. The position emphasizes teamwork, training apprentices, and meeting production goals while maintaining strict OSHA and site safety

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial metal stud framing and drywall installation.
• Ability to read basic construction drawings and layouts.
• Ability to work at heights and handle lifting tasks safely.
• Must have reliable transportation and strong safety practices.
• Commitment to training apprentices as needed.

Responsabilités

• Read and interpret drawings, wall types, ceilings, and layouts.
• Layout and frame walls, soffits, bulkheads, and openings to spec.
• Install corner bead, ceiling bead, and related trim components.
• Identify and report conflicts, damaged materials, or missing information.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
• Coordinate with foreman, crew, and other trades on site.
• Assist with training of apprentices in safe practices and methods.
