Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking an Installation Technician to join our automotive service team. This non-exempt, hourly position focuses on tire services, oil changes, and MPI inspections, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and excellent customer experience.

The technician will follow VIP processes and work within a structured shop environment to ensure first-time service quality. The role requires ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5), state inspection license, and ongoing training to maintain

Qualifications

• Read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions, journals and procedures.
• Explain vehicle information to customers and respond to questions from coworkers.
• Diagnose and recommend solutions to automotive problems.
• Apply written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions.
• Perform the listed automotive services.

Responsibilities

• Provide automotive repair and maintenance services (tires, oil changes, under-hood, MPIs).
• Ensure a valid Service Work Order is initiated and displayed during service.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and loss-prevention practices in the shop.
• Maintain shop equipment and assist in ongoing training and certification.
