Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking an Installation Technician to perform tire services, fluid checks, and under-hood maintenance while upholding safety and customer service standards. You will follow VIP processes and complete service work orders accurately in a fast-paced shop environment.

The role requires ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5) and state inspection credentials, with ongoing training and a 5-day, 40-hour work week. Candidate must prioritize safety and quality in every service task.

Qualifications

• Read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions, journal and procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Explain vehicle information to customers, present and respond to questions from coworkers.
• Diagnose and recommend solutions to basic automotive problems.
• Ability to perform automotive services listed (tires, oil changes, MPI, alignments, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Maintain workplace safety as priority and follow all safety policies.
• Provide automotive repair and maintenance services including tires, oil changes, MPIs and alignments.
• Initiate and display a valid service work order before servicing a vehicle and return paperwork after service.
• Complete safety and required certifications; participate in team meetings and training.
