Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking an Installation Technician to support tire service, maintenance, and vehicle care in a busy shop. The role requires safe operation, accuracy, and teamwork to ensure first-time quality on each vehicle.

The ideal candidate maintains ASE G1/A4/A5 certifications and a state inspection license, with experience in MPI, oil changes, and preventive maintenance. Training through LMS and ongoing compliance are expected.

Qualifications

• Read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions or procedures.
• Diagnose basic automotive problems and recommend solutions.
• Explain vehicle information to customers clearly and accurately.
• Maintain ASE certifications and state inspection license status.
• Adhere to safety and loss prevention policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire services, oil changes, MPI, wheel alignments and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure valid Service Work Order is created and displayed during service.
• Complete required safety training and use protective equipment.
• Only obtain parts from designated desk team and return unused parts afterward.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and comply with regulations.
