Job summary

Charm Industrial seeks a hands-on Lab Specialist to drive experimental work in the Materials Science and Engineering team. You will design, build, and run lab systems, gather data, and support regulatory submissions with high-pressure and high-temperature testing.

You will collaborate with reservoir engineers, manage samples, and maintain rigorous data practices while contributing to climate-focused research and development efforts in Colorado.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in chemistry, chemical engineering, geology, or related field.
• MS/PhD and/or 4+ years of lab experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience designing, building, or operating lab testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and run lab experiments and test systems (high pressure/temperature).
• Collaborate with reservoir engineers to plan experiments for regulatory submissions.
• Manage field samples: brine, sand, bio-oil, and other materials.
• Ensure repeatable, well-documented test protocols for internal and external labs.
