Job summary

ExxonMobil is seeking a laboratory technician to join our Houston-area team. You will perform routine and non-routine tests to determine physical, chemical, and elemental properties of materials, ensuring data integrity and safety as part of our Upstream/Low Carbon Solutions efforts.

Ideal candidates hold a B.S. in Chemistry or related field, have hands-on experience with ICP, XRF and related techniques, and can interpret data while collaborating with colleagues to meet quality standards and

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemistry, Biology or related field.
• Hands-on experience with standardized testing (ICP, XRF, CHN, UV/Vis, titration, density, flashpoint, MCR, KF Water).
• Familiarity with ASTM and ISO Standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine tests to determine properties of materials.
• Ensure data collection accuracy and safe operation of lab instruments.
• Maintain logs, calibrations and equipment records.
• Follow safety procedures and quality management systems.
