Job summary

ARTECHOUSE in Washington DC is seeking an experienced location manager to lead daily operations and cultivate a high-performance team. The role requires organizing exhibitions, overseeing a ~15-person staff, and maintaining top visitor experiences in a fast-paced setting.

The position is exempt with a compensation of $80,000–$85,000, offering unlimited PTO, comprehensive health/dental/vision coverage, and a creative, collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of operations management experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in hospitality/museum management is a plus.
• Facility/maintenance management with contractors and vendors is needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations including space maintenance and exhibition operations.
• Manage a team of approximately 15 staff.
• Oversee 4 full day shifts per week including 2 weekend days.
• Ensure visitor experience is consistently excellent.
• Oversee vendors, contractors, cleaners, security, and building codes.
