Job summary

Southall is seeking an Activities Manager to oversee the Activities team and programming, providing logistical support for Apiary, Farm, Orchard, Wellness, and Culinary programs at the resort.

You will manage staff, analyze program performance, and ensure compliance with regulations while delivering a high-quality guest experience. A strong emphasis on sustainability, farming, and guest engagement guides daily work.

Qualifications

• 2+ years leading/managing teams and staff.
• 2+ years experience in educational, experiential, and/or adventure tours.
• Strong communication and public speaking skills.
• CPR/AED & First Aid certification within 30 days of starting employment.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to lift 50 lbs; willingness to work weekends/evenings/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staff development, operations and day-to-day management of Activities services for guests and community.
• Analyze performance data and adjust offerings; update public descriptions across channels.
• Post activity charges to PMS and distribute end-of-day reports.
• Ensure compliance with permits, inspections, and required standards for activities.
• Manage supplies and equipment used in activities; coordinate with events team.
• Hire, train and supervise Activities Program Guides and coordinators.
• Build relationships with vendors for seamless collaboration and opportunities for staff enrichment.
• Coordinate with Property Management on development of activity areas and with the Retail Manager for kiosks.
