Job summary

The Auburn University Harrison College of Pharmacy (AUHCOP) seeks a Professor of Experiential Practice to support IPPE, APPE, and IPE across a student-centered learning environment. This 9-month, 0.8 FTE, non-tenurable appointment promotes collaborative experiential education on Auburn campus with distance teaching to Mobile, AL.

The role includes direct patient care, student precepting, and program development within Clinical Affairs and Outreach, aligning with ACPE standards and program

Qualifications

• Must have a Doctor of Pharmacy or ACPE-accredited BS degree.
• Must be licensed to practice in Alabama at the time of employment.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Precept Pharm.D. students in IPPE, APPE, and IPE experiences.
• Provide direct patient care within AUHCOP-affiliated sites.
• Deliver formative and summative feedback and evaluate student performance.
• Mentor student pharmacists across professional years.
• Engage in quality assurance of experiential education and ACPE alignment.
