The Auburn University Harrison College of Pharmacy (HCOP) invites applications for a Professor of Practice position to support our undergraduate degree program, Bachelor of Science in Drug and Biopharmaceutical Sciences (DBPS). This is a unique opportunity to educate the next generation of scientists, and the associated workforce needed to support the growing needs in this field. This role is designed for accomplished professionals with significant experience in pharmaceutical research who are passionate about providing students with a deeper understanding of drug development and pharmaceutical sciences. The Professor of Practice will bring real-world expertise into the classroom, bridging academic learning with professional application. This is a 12-month, 1.0FTE, non-tenurable appointment in which the individual will work with HCOP faculty and staff to provide premier educational experiences for our students. The position is based on the Auburn campus. The program is designed to provide an innovative, instructional and research-intensive academic environment with the capacity to meet the challenges of preparing undergraduate-level students for entering newly emerging pharmaceutical sciences career tracks. Undergraduate students will experience an innovative instructional and research-intensive academic environment, providing a deeper understanding of drug development and pharmaceutical sciences.
