Job summary

Auburn University Harrison College of Pharmacy invites applications for a Professor of Experiential Practice. The 9-month, 0.8 FTE, non-tenurable appointment supports IPPE, APPE, and IPE, with direct patient care and student precepting.

The candidate will collaborate with HCOP faculty, participate in program outcomes, and mentor students across professional years. Salary is competitive and commensurate with education and experience.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States at the start of the appointment and during its term.
• Earned a Doctor of Pharmacy or ACPE-accredited BS degree and Alabama license.
• Residency, board certification or related credentials are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Precept Pharm.D. students in IPPE, APPE, and IPE activities including population health and ambulatory care.
• Provide direct patient care and engage in interprofessional team activities.
• Deliver formative and summative feedback, evaluate performance, and foster clinical reasoning and professionalism.
• Act as a role model and mentor across professional years.
• Collaborate on quality assurance of experiential education aligned with standards.
