Job summary

HarbourVest Partners (U.K.) Limited is seeking an Associate, Experiential Marketing and Events to plan and deliver HarbourVest's global event portfolio, including client events, leadership dinners, annual meetings, and regional programs.

The role requires an independent, detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work with internal partners, venues, and vendors to execute events across in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, hospitality, event management, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in corporate events, hospitality, marketing, conferences, or client-facing programs.
• Financial Services background preferred.
• Experience coordinating events from planning through follow-up and independently managing assigned programs or workstreams.
• Familiarity with Cvent or a similar event management platform.
• Experience working with venues, vendors, contracts, budgets, and event logistics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute select events and manage assigned workstreams within larger in-person, virtual, and hybrid programs.
• Coordinate registration, attendee communications, transportation, accommodations, materials, gifting, and onsite logistics.
• Collaborate with venues, hotels, production teams, transportation, caterers, and vendors for programs.
• Provide onsite execution, anticipate needs, resolve issues, and advance decisions as needed.
• Maintain event plans, timelines, budgets, invoices, contracts, and vendor docs.
