Job summary

Follett Higher Education operates the Experiential Learning Platform (ELP) Team at the campus bookstore, dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service. The ELP Team Member greets customers, answers inquiries, and rings up purchases using the POS system while maintaining safe, organized shelves and pricing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Travel: minimal - less than 10%.
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with inquiries, strive for hassle-free service.
• Operate the POS, process payments, and apply discounts as needed.
• Support training of new team members and maintain pricing on floor.
• Keep sales floor stocked and merchandise properly displayed.
• Follow safety and loss prevention procedures and report issues.
