Job summary

University at Albany seeks a Coordinator of Internships and Career Programming to serve as the primary contact for internships, career programming, and experiential learning opportunities within the College.

You will support undergraduate and graduate students in the School of Criminal Justice and the Departments of Political Science and Public Administration and Policy through internship placement, career advising, and professional development programming.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by a U.S. Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience advising, mentoring, teaching, or supporting students.
• Experience managing programs, projects, events, internships, or experiential learning opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage internship and experiential learning programs for Criminal Justice, Political Science, and Public Administration and Policy students, including placement processes, course administration, employer relations, data reporting, and compliance with academic and program requirements.
