Job summary

University of Colorado Boulder seeks an imaginative Events Manager to lead the college’s event marketing strategy, signature events, recruitment sessions and staff experiences. You will partner with the Director of Marketing and Content Strategy to define KPIs, manage budgets and vendor contracts, and continuously refine the attendee experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience on a year-for-year basis.
• Minimum 5 years of professional event planning/coordination experience.
• Experience managing event budgets and vendor coordination.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and stakeholder management.
• Ability to track metrics, analyze data and report to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement A&S signature event strategy and annual calendar.
• Plan and execute in-person, hybrid and virtual events with attention to accessibility.
• Coordinate with partners across campus for logistics, budgeting, timelines and vendors.
• Lead post-event analysis and reporting to drive future improvements.
• Ensure events align with CU Boulder procurement rules and safety policies.
