Job summary

Wildflower Farms, Auberge Collection in the Hudson Valley is seeking an Experiences Chef to lead culinary programming—teaching hands-on classes, hosting daily activations, and weaving farm-to-table storytelling across the property and farm for guests.

You will collaborate with the Experiences team and Head Farmer to source seasonal ingredients, develop activations, and manage budgets while tailoring experiences for VIP guests, groups, and special occasions.

Qualifications

• Sous Chef-level experience in high-end restaurants or luxury hospitality.
• Guest-facing teaching or instructional experience a plus.
• Farm or farm-to-table kitchen experience considered.
• Existing relationships with local purveyors a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; collaborate across Experiences, Culinary, and Farm teams.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead a culinary-minded class 5x/week.
• Host a complimentary culinary activation 5x/week.
• Support group and private experience requests, including custom menu/format input as needed.
• Activate seasonal culinary classes, refreshing offerings with harvest cycles.
• Partner with the Experiences team to develop new activation concepts.
• Work with the Head Farmer to incorporate farm goods into classes and activations.
• Identify and develop relationships with local purveyors for authentic, regionally-sourced ingredients.
• Drive personalization and VIP touches within reason.
• Forecast and manage ingredient costs as part of the department's budget.
• Teaching and hosting scheduled public classes and daily activations.
• Prep and sourcing for classes and activations.
• Administrative support, including ordering, guest communication, and scheduling.
