Job summary

Electron Beam Technologies (EBT) in Kankakee, IL is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to safely manufacture high-quality welding cable and operate production equipment. This role requires at least two years of machine operating experience in manufacturing; non-experienced candidates are not considered.

Forklift or general labor alone do not meet the requirements. Experience with wire and cable or continuous manufacturing processes is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment.
• NOT an entry-level position.
• Forklift, warehouse, or general labor experience alone does not meet this requirement.
• Experience with wire and cable manufacturing or continuous manufacturing processes is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Set up, monitor, and adjust machines to maintain product quality.
• Handle copper wire, reels, and raw materials.
• Meet production goals while maintaining quality standards.
• Perform quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process.
• Follow all safety procedures and work instructions.
