Lake Cable, LLC in Elkhart, IN is seeking a Machine Operator to support copper strand processing and quality control. You will read specifications, operate forklifts and overhead cranes, document results, and ensure a safe, clean work area.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with training provided for specialized equipment and ISO quality processes. Day shifts and competitive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Read and understand material specifications.
• Operate forklift and overhead crane to move and stage material.
• Read and understand process documentation for set-up and operation of processing equipment.
• Read and understand process documentation to identify product requirements.
• Complete and document all quality testing required both in-process and for final product.
• React immediately if product does not meet requirements.
• Complete all weight verifications.
• Complete all required paperwork.
• Document production results with a computer.
• Generate product labels and apply them to finished product.
• Maintain machine and work area in a safe, clean manner.

Responsibilities
