Job summary

Integrated Power Services, a leading electromechanical and power management provider in North America, seeks a skilled Winder to join our Spokane team. You will rewind various electromechanical equipment, inspect winding damage, document data, and prepare parts for rewinding, performing tests per standards.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of rewinding AC/DC motors, strong safety practice, and the ability to read instructions and perform basic math.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience rewinding AC and DC electric motors.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple to moderately complex written instructions.
• Ability to perform basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Rewind various kinds of electromechanical equipment
• Dismantle and/or strip damaged or unserviceable electromechanical equipment
• Inspect equipment for winding damage and electrical malfunctions
• Document data related to unit’s electromagnetic characteristics, operating conditions, and damage
• Prepare reusable parts for rewinding and inspect renewed parts for issues
• Test rewound equipment according to standards and record results
