Job summary

Ingram Marine Group in Illinois is seeking an Experienced Welder to join our fleet maintenance team. You will perform wire and stick welding on barges and boats, helping keep our operations safe and reliable.

This role requires reading and following USCG requirements, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work a fast-paced environment. We value teamwork, safety, and strong communication across all levels of the organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Ability to read and write English to comply with USCG requirements.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for the repair and maintenance of Ingram's fleet of barges and boats. We operate in an environment where flexibility and a willingness to take on new tasks, and responsibilities keep things interesting!

What you'll be doing:

• Wire and stick welding
• Operating hydraulic crane
• Inspecting and pumping barges
• Other duties as requested
