Job summary

Spaulding Mfg., Inc is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The role focuses on fabrication, assembly, and repair of heavy equipment and custom steel components, with strong MIG welding and blueprint-reading requirements.

Candidates should be able to read blueprints, operate fabrication tools, lift 50+ lbs, and work independently while meeting project deadlines in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of welding/fabrication experience required.
• Strong MIG welding skills required.
• Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and fabrication drawings.
• Experience using fabrication and shop tools.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on steel components and assemblies.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and measurements.
• Fabricate and assemble structural steel and equipment components.
• Operate fabrication equipment including saws, grinders, torches, and drills.
• Ensure weld quality and maintain clean, accurate workmanship.
• Assist with fitting, layout, and final assembly of equipment.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Work with the production team to meet project deadlines.
