Job summary

Superior Sales & Service in Plattsmouth, Nebraska is seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator to join our team. This is custom, hands-on fabrication work based on technical drawings, not a production line, requiring precision, problem-solving, and the ability to work from detailed blueprints.

You will weld, fabricate, assemble components, and help install fabricated parts on heavy equipment. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years welding and fabrication experience, proficiency with MIG and stick welding,

Qualifications

• 3–5 years welding and fabrication experience
• Able to read and work from technical drawings/blueprints
• Proficient in MIG and stick welding; TIG is a plus
• Skilled in operating metalworking and power hand tools
• Mechanical aptitude; hydraulics/heavy equipment experience preferred
• Forklift experience preferred
• Must own and maintain personal tools
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality welding and fabrication based on drawings and specs
• Operate torches, grinders, plasma cutters, and other tools
• Read and interpret blueprints and measuring devices
• Assist with mechanical assembly and installation of components
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems as needed
• Use math for measurements and conversions
• Maintain tools and equipment safely and professionally
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures
