Job summary

PRL in the United States is seeking an experienced Welder to fabricate and repair metal parts, interpret blueprints, select welding processes, and operate welding equipment to meet exacting specifications.

You will pass the internal X-ray weld test (SMAW/FCAW), position and weld parts per layouts, inspect work, operate a crane and forklift, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. 3+ years experience and a high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 3+ years welding experience in fabrication/repair.
• Proficiency with SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, GTAW and handheld grinder use.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and drawings to guide welding work.
• Pass internal X-ray weld test SMAW/FCAW.
• Position and weld parts per layouts and specs.
• Inspect welds and verify conformance to drawings.
• Review engineering drawings for material needs.
• Operate overhead crane and forklift safely.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Dimensionally inspect finished products.
• Adhere to all QA standards and safety procedures.
• Complete welding position safety training.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
• Follow all policies and procedures.
