Mount Dora Veterinary Hospital in Mount Dora, FL, is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our fast-paced, multi-doctor practice. You will perform triage, anesthesia monitoring, in-house diagnostics, and radiography, while supporting clients with clear care plans.

We offer hands-on training, a collaborative team, and opportunities to grow into advanced roles. Pay ranges from $18-$22/hour depending on experience and license status.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of clinical veterinary technician experience.
• Proficiency in anesthesia monitoring, lab diagnostics, and patient care.
• Strong communication and a calm, team-focused attitude.
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• Self-starter with a passion for ongoing learning and growth.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Triage and patient restraint for exams and treatments.
• In-house laboratory diagnostics and sample collection.
• Anesthetic induction and monitoring.
• Surgical prep and assistance, including orthopedic procedures.
• Radiographic imaging (digital full-body and dental).
• Hospitalized patient care, medication administration, and treatment support.
• Clear, compassionate communication with clients regarding care plans and procedures.
• Access to hands-on training and growth into advanced roles if desired.

As an experienced Veterinary Technician, your responsibilities will include:
