Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida, Inc. is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to prepare exam rooms, operate ultrasound equipment, and ensure patient safety. You will review orders, verify patient data, and produce high-quality images for Radiologists.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certified; RVT and Abdomen or OB/GYN required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Graduate of AMA Accredited Educational Program for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment for sonography examinations.
• Inspect images for quality and ensure proper patient data before interpretation.
• Assist with training of new technologists and residents as requested.
• Perform advanced sonography services and interventional procedures as delegated.
