Job summary

Davey Tree Surgery Co. is hiring an Experienced Line Clearance Trimmer to service Guernsey and Tuscarawas County, OH, including Cambridge, Dover and New Philadelphia. This on-site role offers an hourly wage of $22–$24, comprehensive benefits from day one, and opportunities to advance in a people-focused, safety-driven environment.

You’ll climb, prune and remove trees for major electric utilities, maintain gear, and work as part of a crew under a foreperson. A CDL and valid license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license.
• Preferred: CDL-Class A or B with Air Brake Endorsement.
• Preferred: line clearance experience or other related tree work.
• Preferred: ISA certifications (Arborist/Tree Worker) and TCIA safety creds.

Responsibilities

• Climb trees using DdRT/MRS or SRT/SRS climbing systems.
• Perform pruning and removal work safely and skillfully for electric utilities.
• Prune treetops, remove damaged limbs and clear lines.
• Identify trees and apply industry pruning guidelines.
• Maintain and operate tools and equipment, including chainsaws and aerial lifts.
• Work as part of a crew with ground crew and foreperson.
• Grow your responsibilities based on performance.
