Job summary

Barminco seeks an Experienced Underground Auto Electrician for a new project in Elko, Nevada (USA) on a 7 days on/7 days off residential roster. You will mentor local workers, share your expertise, and uphold safety as a core value.

Responsibilities include servicing mobile equipment, minimizing downtime, and keeping precise maintenance records in a high-productivity underground setting. 5+ years post-apprenticeship required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated safety mindset and proactive attitude toward safety in all tasks.
• Experience training less-qualified tradespeople on high-productivity underground equipment.
• Strong background with latest generation underground mobile equipment and automation systems.
• 5+ years post-apprenticeship underground mining experience on large mobile equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled servicing to mobile equipment in a safe manner.
• Utilise experience to minimise machinery downtime.
• Record and report maintenance activities accurately.
• Maintain clean, organized workshop and stock levels.
• Read and interpret service and parts manuals.
