Job summary

Rihm Family Companies is seeking an experienced Service Advisor in Winona, MN to coordinate customer repairs from opening to closing, assign work to technicians, and maintain regular communication with customers via phone, text, email, or in person.

You will schedule service work, greet customers, document complaints, cite estimates, obtain approvals, and ensure timely RO closure. Requires strong customer service, basic computer skills, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Practical knowledge of basic computer applications.
• Strong customer service orientation and professional demeanor.
• Detail-oriented with independent thinking.

Responsibilities

• Schedules service work for efficient and productive outcomes.
• Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner.
• Documents accurate descriptions of customer complaints.
• References vehicle history, warranty coverage, open campaigns, etc.
• Creates and communicates estimates cost and time to repair to customer.
• Obtains customer PO or documented approval and signatures from customer.
• Explains repairs to customers on a timely basis.
• Audits repair orders for completion (customer pay and warranty ROs) and closes RO within 2 days of last touch by a technician.
• Updates customers on repair status.
• Responds to telephone and in-person inquiries in a professional manner.
• Maintains professional appearance and clean work area.
