Overview

Our Clarke Vehicare team is seeking an experienced Truck Mechanic - Diesel Technician to uphold our commitment to safety and customer service. The role involves performing truck repairs and maintenance according to industry standards, diagnosing vehicle issues, and collaborating with team members to meet company goals.

Responsibilities

1. Perform brake, steering & suspension, electrical, A/C, and engine repairs
2. Test drive vehicles under 26,000 GVW
3. Assist other technicians as needed
4. Work independently
5. Transmission experience is a plus

Physical and Safety Requirements

• Move frequently, stand, walk, sit; lift up to 50lbs regularly and 100lbs with assistance
• Use hands to handle and feel, reach with arms
• Follow health and safety policies

Education and Experience

• Preferred: One-year certificate from college or technical school
• Minimum: 10 years related repair experience or equivalent education and experience

Certificates and Licenses

• Valid Driver's License
• Preferred: CDL, ASE certifications
• Must obtain DOT Med Card
