Capital Tower & Communications, Inc. is seeking Traveling Telecommunications Tower Technicians to install, maintain, and repair antenna systems on towers across various sites.

The role involves climbing to heights and traveling on six-week rotations with breaks, requiring hands-on electrical/construction skills and a strong safety mindset. Join a team that focuses on high-quality workmanship, safety, and professional growth.

Qualifications

You are physically able to climb to heights daily.
Able to work in all weather conditions year-round.
Some construction and/or electrical experience is preferred.
You enjoy working with your hands and traveling frequently.

Responsibilities

Follow all safety rules and regulations.
Install/replace/repair antenna system equipment.
Distribute/pick-up/organize tools and materials.
Install/modify/mount & platform.
Identify/fix problems using test equipment.
Work with a team.
Perform tower structure inspection.

What WE Ask Of YOU:

Being a tower climber can be a very rewarding and worthwhile career, but it takes a unique skillset and even more of a unique personality. These are some physical and mental attributes that some of the most successful Tower Technicians have.

You are physically able to climb to heights in excess of 300 feet daily
You can work in all weather conditions year-round
You have some construction and/or electrical experience
You enjoy working with your hands
You enjoy constant travel and willing to live life on the road 6-Week Travel rotations followed by a 7-10 day break. (Travel expenses covered)

Job Responsibilities:

Follow all safety rules and regulations
Install/replace/repair antenna system equipment
Distribute/pick-up/organize tools and materials
Install/modify/mount & platform
Identify/fix problems using test equipment
Work with a team
Perform tower structure inspection
Climbing and working on communications towers for the purpose of installing, replacing, and repairing antenna systems equipment performs tower maintenance under close supervision.
The basic use and care of hand tools and mechanical equipment.
Distribute, pick up and organize tools and materials.
Ability to read site plans and tower drawings.
The hazards associated with tower climbing, construction equipment, and working on or near energized lines and equipment.
