Job summary

Capital Tower & Communications, Inc. is seeking Traveling Telecommunications Tower Technicians to install, repair, and maintain antenna systems on towers across the USA. This role involves climbing to heights above 300 feet, working in all weather, and frequent travel with rotations and planned breaks.

Comprehensive training and safety programs are provided. Ideal candidates will have construction or electrical experience, enjoy hands-on work, and be willing to relocate with 6-week travel

Qualifications

• Must be physically able to climb to heights over 300 feet daily
• Able to work in all weather conditions year-round
• Construction and/or electrical experience preferred
• Enjoys hands-on work
• Willing to travel 6-week rotations with a 7-10 day break; travel expenses covered

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and regulations
• Install/replace/repair antenna system equipment
• Distribute/pick-up/organize tools and materials
• Install/modify/mount & platform
• Identify/fix problems using test equipment
• Perform tower structure inspection
• Climbing and working on communications towers to install, replace, and repair antenna systems equipment under supervision
• Basic use and care of hand tools and mechanical equipment
• Distribute, pick up and organize tools and materials
• Read site plans and tower drawings
• Be aware of hazards related to tower climbing and energized lines
• Training and certifications are provided by the company

• You are physically able to climb to heights in excess of 300 feet daily
• You can work in all weather conditions year-round
• You have some construction and/or electrical experience
• You enjoy working with your hands
• You enjoy constant travel and willing to live life on the road 6-Week Travel rotations followed by a 7-10 day break. (Travel expenses covered)

Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to read site plans and tower drawings.
• The hazards associated with tower climbing, construction equipment, and working on or near energized lines and equipment.
