Job summary

Capital Tower & Communications, Inc. is seeking Traveling Telecommunications Tower Technicians to install, maintain, and repair antenna systems on towers nationwide. This role requires climbing to heights over 300 feet, working in all weather, and a strong hands-on skill set.

Rotations are 6 weeks on the road followed by 7–10 days off, with travel expenses covered. The company offers competitive compensation, paid travel, a sign-on bonus, per diem, and multiple training and certification

Qualifications

• Must be physically able to climb to heights daily (up to 300+ feet).
• Experience in construction and/or electrical fields preferred.
• Comfort working with hand tools and mechanical equipment.
• Willing to travel extensively with extended rotations.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Install/replace/repair antenna systems equipment.
• Distribute/pick up/organize tools and materials.
• Install/modify/mount platforms and related components.
• Identify and fix problems using test equipment.
• Work with a team to complete tower tasks.
• Perform tower structure inspections and maintenance.
• Read site plans and tower drawings.

What WE Ask Of YOU:

• You are physically able to climb to heights in excess of 300 feet daily
• You can work in all weather conditions year-round
• You have some construction and/or electrical experience
• You enjoy working with your hands
• You enjoy constant travel and willing to live life on the road 6-Week Travel rotations followed by a 7-10 day break. (Travel expenses covered)

Job Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety rules and regulations
• Install/replace/repair antenna system equipment
• Distribute/pick-up/organize tools and materials
• Install/modify/mount & platform
• Identify/fix problems using test equipment
• Work with a team
• Perform tower structure inspection
• Climbing and working on communications towers for the purpose of installing, replacing, and repairing antenna systems equipment performs tower maintenance under close supervision.
• The basic use and care of hand tools and mechanical equipment.
• Distribute, pick up and organize tools and materials.
• Ability to read site plans and tower drawings.
• The hazards associated with tower climbing, construction equipment, and working on or near energized lines and equipment.
