We are Site Engineers and Transportation Engineers seeking to expand our boundaries and services. We are problem-solvers and solution-finders for our clients and communities, employing advanced technology like GIS and 3D modeling to deliver accurate, comprehensible project documents.
Stonefield Engineering and Design is recruiting a Project Engineer/Manager for the Traffic Engineering Team. This dynamic role offers diverse interactions and rapid growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, interpersonal skills, curiosity, and a desire for continuous learning. Interest in cross-disciplinary work within Traffic Engineering, Highway/Roadway Design, and Civil Engineering is encouraged. Responsibilities include training entry- to mid-level designers, preparing Traffic Impact and Parking Studies, conducting Intersection Capacity Analyses, designing Traffic Signal and Roadway Improvement Plans, creating Traffic Signal Timing Directives, and developing submissions for jurisdictional approvals. The role also involves project management, permitting, field inspections, hydraulic analysis, and report preparation. The candidate should be capable of presenting at municipal, county, and state meetings with proper training.
While skills like AutoCAD, signal design, field experience, and technical writing are beneficial, we value innovation and problem-solving. Minimum requirements include:
