Job summary

Colony Tire Corporation in Norfolk, VA is seeking a full-time Tire Technician to safely repair, replace, and service commercial tires on customer vehicles at Colony Tire locations, customer sites, and roadside calls. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities include tire inspection, balancing, mounting/dismounting, component replacements, and accurate documentation. Prior tire technician experience is required and top pay is based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and/or related experience is preferred but not required.
• Mechanical knowledge and ability to operate shop equipment safely.
• Ability to inspect tires, balance wheels, and replace components as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a valid driver’s license for vehicles operated.
• Inspect tires and wheels before and after service.
• Identify repairable tire conditions and perform repairs.
• Document all work per company policies.
• Move vehicles safely within shop and to customer locations.
