Job summary

Colony Tire is seeking a full-time Commercial Tire Technician in Roanoke, VA. You will safely repair, replace, and service commercial tires on customer vehicles at Colony Tire locations and sites, including roadside calls.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, safety commitment, and adaptability to indoor/outdoor environments. Responsibilities include inspecting tires, mounting/dismounting tires, and documenting work in compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to safely service tires.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools used in tire service.
• Ability to inspect tires, document work, and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain valid driver’s license for vehicle types operated.
• Inspect tires and wheels before/after service.
• Identify repairable tire conditions and perform repairs.
• Document work per company policies and procedures.
• Safely mount/dismount tires and balance wheels.
• Place wheels on balancing machines and install counterweights.
