Job summary

Colony Tire Corporation in Suffolk, Virginia, is seeking a full-time Commercial Tire Technician to repair, replace, and service commercial tires on client vehicles, sites, and roadside calls. The position includes extensive tire mounting, balancing, and component work, with opportunities to advance as expertise grows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; ASE certification preferred.
• 2–4 years related experience and/or training recommended; related ASE credentials are a plus.
• Must be able to perform essential tasks with mechanical aptitude and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tires, wheels, and vehicles before and after service.
• Operate hydraulic jacks and automotive lifts.
• Mount/dismount tires and balance wheels as needed.
• Repair and replace tires, valve stems, and related components.
• Perform routine maintenance and road tests when required.
• Follow safety procedures and document work accurately.
