Job summary

Jackson Hewitt is hiring an Experienced Seasonal Tax Preparer to help clients file federal and state returns during the tax season. You’ll identify deductions and credits and deliver friendly, accurate service using our proprietary software.

Candidates with at least one season of tax prep experience, strong communication skills, and PTIN are encouraged to apply. Flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and training are provided.

Qualifications

• At least one season of professional tax preparation experience; two or more preferred.
• Knowledge of individual federal and state income tax returns.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN). We can assist with the application or renewal process.
