Job summary

Jackson Hewitt is seeking Experienced Seasonal Tax Preparers for the upcoming tax season in Springfield, MO. You will prepare federal and state returns, identify deductions and credits, and provide excellent service using our software.

Flexible part-time and full-time seasonal schedules are available, with benefits like telemedicine access and employee discounts. Ideal candidates have at least one season of experience, solid knowledge of tax forms, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• At least one season of professional tax preparation experience; two or more preferred.
• Knowledge of individual federal and state income tax returns.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN). We can assist with the application or renewal process.
