Jackson Hewitt is seeking an Experienced Seasonal Tax Preparer to join our team for the tax season in Gulf Breeze, FL. You will interview clients, prepare federal and state returns, and help clients maximize deductions with our software.

This role offers competitive hourly wages, a performance-based bonus program, flexible scheduling, and access to Teladoc health services. PTIN is required; prior tax preparation experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least one season of professional tax preparation experience; two or more seasons preferred.
• Familiarity with federal and state individual income tax returns, deductions, credits, and filing requirements.
• Commitment to delivering outstanding service and building strong client relationships.
• Ability to explain tax information clearly and professionally.
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.
• Comfortable using computers, tax preparation software, and digital tools.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
• A valid IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) is required; we can provide guidance through the application or renewal process.
