• Experience preparing individual income tax returns in a paid setting.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state individual income taxes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate individual federal and state income tax returns.
• Interview clients to understand tax situations and identify deductions/credits.
• Review documents and resolve missing or inconsistent information.
• Explain tax results and available services clearly and professionally.
• Deliver friendly, attentive service to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Schedule appointments and follow up with new and returning clients.
• Work with the office team to manage appointments, serve walk-ins, and meet tax-season goals.
• Protect confidential information and follow tax preparation requirements and company procedures.
